Job Description:
The Judge Group is seeking an Assistant Controller for a company
located in the Hammond, IN area.Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Hammond, INSalary: $70,000 - $90,000Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with the Controller to manage the monthly closing
process - Maintain updated foreign exchange rates for financial
reporting within SAP- Assist the Cost Accounting Manager in the
monthly closing activities- Participate in the budgeting and
forecasting procedures- Prepare filings for state sales tax- Serve
as an additional US GAAPQualifications: - Bachelor's degree,
Accounting preferred- 5+ years of experience - 2+ years of
experience in a manufacturing environment- Strong familiarity with
US GAAP, SOX, and FASB principles- SAP experience preferred
