Perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, and other fleet vehicles. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles. Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined. Maintain and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems. Test drive vehicles to gauge performance and identify issues. Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Adhere to an environmentally responsible approach in handling all hazardous substances. Document and maintain service reports for each vehicle maintenance activity. Profound knowledge of diesel engines and various mechanical components. Ability to work with diagnostic tools for automotive repair and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to physically handle heavy equipment and work in diverse conditions. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASE Diesel Certification highly preferred. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or the ability to obtain one within stipulated time.
