Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A contract position is available for an experienced
Special Education Teacher specializing in English Language Arts
(ELA) for 11th and 12th grades at a high school level in Chicago,
IL. This role focuses on providing instruction in ELA and college
seminar courses while supporting the unique learning needs of
students with disabilities. Responsibilities: Deliver specialized
instruction aligned with ELA and college seminar curricula for 11th
and 12th-grade students. Manage a case load of 8-10 students
requiring individualized educational plans. Collaborate with school
staff to adapt materials and strategies to support diverse learning
styles. Monitor and document student progress and provide updates
to parents and administration. Participate in meetings and
professional development as required. Qualifications: Valid
teaching certification with endorsement in Special Education.
Experience teaching high school ELA, particularly 11th and
12th-grade students. Ability to develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Strong communication and
organizational skills. Experience working within a special
education framework in a high school environment. Location:
Chicago, Illinois Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:25 AM to 3:30
PM Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 6th This role

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.05 to $48.05.
