Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school
serving grades K-5. This role is a maternity leave coverage
contract lasting from April 6 through May 21 (end of school year).
The position is based in Elmhurst, IL, and involves working a full
40-hour week to provide psychological services to students. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments for K-5
students to identify learning needs and behavioral concerns
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop
and implement intervention plans Participate in Individualized
Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist with special education
evaluations Provide counseling and support to students as needed
Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state and
federal regulations Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist
certification Experience working with elementary-aged children
(K-5) Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and
special education laws Strong communication and collaboration
skills Ability to handle a K-5 caseload independently Location:
Emerson Elementary School, Elmhurst, Illinois This contract
