skilled and motivated individual to join our Metal Cutting &
Turning Operations team as a Machinist. In this role, you’ll play a
key part in maintaining efficient production by setting up and
operating a range of CNC equipment, including turning machines and
both vertical and horizontal machining centers. Set-up durations
and run times vary depending on the job, and you’ll be working in a
fast-paced production environment where meeting standard output
rates and maintaining high-quality work are essential. This
position requires strong hand-eye coordination and frequent use of
both hands and arms for repetitive tasks. Your attention to detail
and commitment to quality will directly contribute to the success
of the team. Responsibilities Demonstrated ability to read
blueprints and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Organize, prioritize, and plan daily work assignments in a
self-directed changing environment. Proficient use of measuring
equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
Understanding of metal-cutting applications and machine practices.
Handle piece parts ranging in weight from 1lb. to 25 lbs. Deburr
and clean parts using various hand and power tools such as a belt
sander or drill press. Inspect parts visually and use various
measurement tools for accuracy. Essential Skills 3 years of CNC
machining experience with Mazak CNC Machines (Mills/Lathes). 1 year
of CNC setup experience. Experience with mill and/or lathe
operations. Blueprint reading experience. Proficient with precision
measuring tools: micrometers and calipers. High School Diploma or
GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications CNC vocational schooling.
GD&T experience. Experience with both lathe and mill CNC

Environment Work in a brand new, climate-controlled facility in
Palatine. We have positions open on both the 1st and 2nd shifts,
with an average of 5-10 hours of overtime. Some Saturdays may be
required with prior notice, but they will not be mandatory. Job
Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Palatine,
IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 -
$33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
