Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining all process and production equipment while ensuring the upkeep of general building maintenance. The successful candidate will repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance. Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators. Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned. Essential Skills Excellent mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics. Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English. Ability to read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required. Ability to work overtime as required. High school diploma or GED. The position is available on the 1st shift, from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility in hours. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr. Medical Dental Vision 401k Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Pleasant Prairie,WI.
