excellence. On any given day, you'll: Provide project management
for a variety of municipal and private projects including roadway
reconstruction, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains,
bridges, trails, and traffic signals Conduct business development
for Preliminary engineering work Be responsible for the concept,
design, and engineering required to complete IDOT and Local Roads
preliminary engineering projects Be responsible for geometric
design on projects and training staff in geometric design Work
closely with Principal to provide project, scope, schedule, and
budget Effectively communicate and coordinate with clients and
stakeholders both verbally and written Understand project schedules
and implement accordingly Understand and execute requirements for
different funding opportunities Review exhibits to communicate with
clients for inclusion in project reports Read, analyze, and
interpret technical procedures or government regulations
Environmental Survey Request process Review and assist with project
reports Write Funding Applications Review and assist with project
cost estimates Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil
Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university Must
be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois Valid
Driver's license with a good driving record Minimum of 10 years of
experience with IDOT and Phase I projects Desired Skills and
Experiences: Experience with ISTHA/IDOT and Local Roads project
processing procedures Microstation/Geopak software Geometric Design
Physical Demands: Ability to sit, walk, reach, crouch, bend, and
walk or stand on uneven surfaces for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs. Constant hand,
finger, and arm use Constant computer screen exposure Prolonged
