Transmission Rebuild Specialist – $45–$57 per Hour Advantage
Chevrolet of Bridgeview – Bridgeview, IL Local 701 Union Shop
Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview is actively hiring an experienced
GM Master Technician / Journeyman Automotive Technician with proven
GM transmission rebuild experience. We are a Local 701 Union shop
seeking a high-level GM dealership technician capable of advanced
diagnostics and full transmission overhaul. If you cannot
independently remove, tear down, and rebuild a GM transmission,
please do not apply. Pay & Position Details $45–$57 per hour (Union
scale based on experience, certifications, and production) Flat
rate position with strong earning potential for high producers.
Required Qualifications GM dealership experience (REQUIRED)
Complete GM transmission rebuild experience (REQUIRED) Strong
electrical & drivability diagnostics Engine performance
troubleshooting Experience with GDS2, MDI & module programming ASE
certifications preferred Local 701 union qualified or eligible
Ability to consistently produce 50–80 flat rate hours Own tools
