Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shift Details -
Shift: 3×12-hour shifts - Block Scheduling: Not allowed Call
Requirements - None Weekend Requirement - Every other weekend (2
weekends per month) Time Off (RTO) Policy - Maximum 5 days total -
No more than 2 consecutive days - No holiday RTO - No RTO the day
before or after a holiday - No weekend RTO Floating Requirements -
Mandatory float facility (Cook County) - ICU RNs will float
between: - Burn ICU - CCU - Medical ICU - SICU - Neuro ICU - May
float to Med-Surg units if needed - Orientation Week: First week
(orientation precepting) will be on day shift Guaranteed Hours - 36
hours/week Requirements Experience - Minimum 2 years recent acute
care ICU experience Certifications - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS Licensure -
Pending licenses NOT accepted Locals - Locals accepted and
preferred - Must live within 75 miles of the facility Hospital
