Job Description Job Description We areseeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant toprovide coverage at a hospital in Lansing, MI. This role involves bothinpatient and surgical responsibilities, requiring advanced procedural skillsand the ability to manage patients independently in collaboration with thesurgical team. PositionDetails Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM onsite daily 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM daily call coverage Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: Yes Procedures: Vein harvesting (required), arterial bypass, bypass surgery Potential Surgical Volume: Up to 1 surgery per day Patient Setting: Hospital-based, including ICU support EMR: Cerner Requirements Active Michigan License at time of name clear (IMLC not accepted) Board Certification (NP or PA) Vein harvesting experience required Prior ICU and cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred Active DEA registration COVID-19 vaccination required Lansing,MI, is the capital of Michigan and a vibrant city known for its mix ofgovernment, education, and healthcare industries.
