Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,226 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60615! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU RN experience in an acute care facility License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Must-Have: Candidates must live within a specified distance from the facility Description: The RN will work in the PACU, providing care for patients recovering from anesthesia. The shift schedule consists of four 10-hour days from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Every other weekend will be required, totaling two weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of five days, with no more than two consecutive days off. Time off is not permitted on holidays or the days immediately before or after holidays. The RN may be required to float to other areas within the facility as needed. Floating may occur within a designated distance from the primary facility. RNs are expected to provide high-quality patient care and support during recovery. The position involves teamwork and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety. No on-call hours are required in this role.
