Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare facility in Elkhart, IN is seeking an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician for a contract position. This role is ideal for a skilled professional proficient in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures, looking to contribute expertise in a dynamic clinical environment. Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Rotating on-call duties required Holiday rotation includes one winter and one summer holiday Qualifications and Desired Experience: Experience and certification as a Cath Lab Technician Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications Ability to perform imaging and diagnostic procedures in a catheterization laboratory Strong knowledge of safety protocols and patient care standards in the cath lab setting Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Assist cardiologists and medical staff during cardiac catheterization procedures Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to emergencies Prepare and maintain sterile field and catheterization lab equipment Document procedures and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations About the Location:Elkhart, Indiana, is a vibrant city known for its welcoming community and rich cultural heritage.
