Job Description Job Description We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team at our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership experience , ready to take the next step in their career. Overview In this role you will work alongside an awesome Administrator and focus on creating more stabilized systems, staff training, help with culture shift! The ideal Director of Nursing will be passionate about long term care, a strong leader that enjoys maintaining communication with the staff and residents. The facility is in Chicago north, near Skokie, it is a about a 109-bed facility Dedicated Restorative Nurse, Infection Control, and ADON does the Scheduling Supportive administrative and clinical leadership. Key Responsibilities Managing day?to?day clinical operations. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff. Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and best clinical practices. Participate in quality assurance, care plan development, and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting. Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and resident-centered care. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Illinois.
