• We foster a fun environment that inspires creativity--OVERVIEWAs a Tester IV you will be working with a team of internal F2P QA testers, external vendor QA and engineers to release technical updates and new features into one of our games. You will create risk-based test plans and work with Tester 3s to execute them, oversee the daily testing activities, and report the testing cycle health to the Production, Engineering, and other stakeholders. You will also work on QA process and procedures with the management team, mentor testers, and fill in where needed to help fill in coverage gaps.WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop test strategies and test plans for Client Releases and Features--
  • Collaborate with Tester IIIs to create test cases, providing feedback and guidance--
  • Verify work done by third party vendors--
  • Triage Bugs and Tasks in JIRA, assigned to current Sprint and Backlog--
  • Oversee daily testing activities for your assigned team--
  • Collaborate with Production on client releases--
  • Participate in cross team/pod meetings as an active QA representative--
  • Maintain regular communication about work status with Production, Engineering and Stakeholders----
  • Work with engineers on identifying and addressing bugs found in Crashlytics and BugSnag--
  • Compile and Submit feedback for the Game/Project QA Team--
  • Help create devices specifications and performance testing procedures--
  • Create, update, and provide guidance on creating QA documents----
  • Lead and mentor testers--WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
    • Strong understanding of testing methods and strategies--
    • Strong understanding of testing techniques and when to apply them--
    • Able to operate in a fast paced, agile, environment with changing deadlines--
    • Experience with mobile testing, Integration testing, Performance testing and Exploratory test techniques--
    • Experience leading testing games in various lifecycle stages: Pre-release / LiveOps Environment--
    • Understanding of the software development lifecycle of games, and how the QA testing cycle is affected by different development models--
    • Strong understanding of game client/server interactions and methodologies for testing them--
    • Previous Experience with evaluating risk and how to communicate risk to stakeholders--
    • Previous Experience with writing Test Plans and Test Cases--
    • Previous Experience with Charles Network Proxy (or similar) network monitoring software--
