The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific programming in the Python language and in ICME technologies.Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based packages for materials design following ICME principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific technologies into robust Software-as-a-Service solutions
• Create and/or optimize Python codebase for high performance and maintainabilityRequirements
  • US Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) status required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science or related field. PhD strongly preferred.
  • Excellent Python programming skills with good understanding of software development design patterns
  • Expertise with common scientific Python libraries
  • Experience with scientific software development based on ICME technologies
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices (version control, documentation, testing)Benefits
