Job Description Production Worker Job Summary We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working production worker for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Job entails the setting up of molds on small to medium size air and hydraulic presses that mold abrasive products. Mechanical ability and attention to detail required. Excellent measuring skills required --- must be able to read a ruler, micrometer & caliper. Production Worker Duties and Responsibilities Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Report any machinery issues to management Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals Maintain a clean and safe work area Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management Follow all written and verbal instructions Attend all safety and production trainings Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude Production Worker Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Must be available for weekends/occasional overtime Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals Good communication skills Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching Able to operate large industrial machinery Able to work 8 hour shifts standing Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Benefits: Sick-Time Accrued PTO Paid Holidays Company Description Family owned business that cares about its employees.
