Job Description:
As the Director of Commercial Sales focused on Account
Management, you will lead the teams responsible for the critical
"expand and retain" phase of the Boomi journey. Your mission is to
transform traditional account management into a strategic
partnership, ensuring our existing customers evolve their digital
architecture to meet the demands of the AI era. You will be the
architect of long-term value, driving world-class retention while
identifying the strategic inflection points where Boomi’s full
platform can solve our customers most complex business challenges.
Location: This role can be based in major US markets or from our
Vancouver commercial hub. What You’ll Do • Drive Growth &
Retention: Oversee a team of Leaders and Account Managers focused
on renewing existing contracts and expanding Boomi’s footprint
within current accounts. • Customer Advocacy: Lead teams to create
a superior customer experience, ensuring strategic alignment
between Boomi’s roadmap and the customer’s evolving business needs.
• Operational Excellence: Review expansion pipeline and collaborate
with our Customer Success and Renewals teams to ensure renewal
health; implement strategies to mitigate churn and maximize new
Bookings. • Strategic Planning: Work with Customer Success and
Professional Services to ensure seamless post-sale transitions and
long-term adoption. • Nurture Relationships: Build executive-level
relationships within our largest commercial accounts to act as a
point of escalation and strategic partnership. • Training &
Development: Lead sessions on account planning, white-space
analysis, and negotiation for contract renewals. The Experience You
Bring • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience in
Account Management or Sales. • 5 years of people leadership
experience, ideally managing teams focused on renewals and
expansion. • Proven ability to manage high-volume renewal cycles
while consistently hitting expansion (upsell/cross-sell) targets. •
Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and retention
metrics. • Proficient with CRM tools (SFDC) and experience using
data to predict account health.
